It's easy to get caught up in our own concerns and lose sight of the bigger picture. Tell us about a time when you set aside your desires to accomplish something greater for the benefit of the whole Migraine and Headache community. If you haven't had the opportunity to do so yet, tell us what you think would be a great common goal for all of us.
This year, Migraine and Headache Awareness Month is all about reminding us that we are #NotAlone. We don't do all this just to complain about the misery of life with Migraine. We are #NotAlone and we don't have to suffer in silence. Even better, there is hope and healing in knowing that we are #NotAlone.
Did you know that about 10 percent of children under age 12 have Migraine? Prior to adolescence, Migraine affects boys and girls almost equally. Although rare, Cluster Headache can affect children and adolescents, too. Concussion injuries from school sports also put kids at risk for headache disorders.
Raising awareness about ALL headache disorders is the job of EVERYONE with ANY headache disorder. None of us are in this alone. We need to work TOGETHER to raise awareness for EVERYONE. EVERY headache disorder matters. What is one way that you can support awareness for a headache disorder you do not have?
